Four stunt bikers have been arrested by traffic police from the India Gate area, their favourite hunting ground.

The arrests, on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, come only weeks after the police adopted a strategy to clean up the area.
A posse of 12 traffic personnel were on duty near India Gate when the bikers zoomed in.
Assistant sub-inspector Rajbir Singh of Parliament House Circle, who was on duty along with constable Prashant at the C-Hexagon-Rajpath intersection, noticed that a group of about 30 bikers were coming from the Akbar Road side.
“Rajbir fractured his right arm while trying to stop 28-year-old biker Gajender Pal Singh’s vehicle,” a senior traffic officer said.
Singh was arrested and produced in Patiala House Courts on Monday. He was remanded in judicial custody for 15 days, said police.
Three other motorcyclists — Sonu of Shastri Nagar, Sohan Singh of Baljeet Nagar and Faizan of Lal Kuan — were prosecuted for dangerous driving, while others managed to flee.
