TC denies reports of Pranab seeking explanation from Mamata

Trinamool Congress on Fiday dubbed as "figment of imagination", reports that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has asked party chief Mamata Banerjee to explain her reported open support to Maoists at a rally in West Bengal recently.

Trinamool Congress on Fiday dubbed as "figment of imagination", reports that Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has asked party chief Mamata Banerjee to explain her reported open support to Maoists at a rally in West Bengal recently.

"It is a figment of imagination... what letter? by whom? for whom?," Trinamool leader and Union minister Dinesh Trivedi
told reporters here while rubbishing the reports.

He blamed the media for "creating" the news and seeking reactions from politicians. Main opposition BJP has asked the government to come clean on Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee's reported open support to Maoists at the Lalgarh rally earlier this week.
