“The Shiv Sena, especially the Thackeray family, strictly needs a course in Art of Living. Perpetrators of such politics need to learn how to calm down,” he said.

Ravi Shankar was in Delhi to launch the ‘Meri Yamuna, Meri Dilli’ campaign on Thursday. The awareness campaign aims to sensitise the citizens towards not polluting the Yamuna and seek their participation in cleaning the river.

“There are 82 NGOs that have agreed to join us as partners in our campaign. UNESCO and the World Bank have also extended their support,” Shankar said.

The organisation will hold a seven-day programme to

clean ghats that lie on the riverbanks in Delhi, beginning on March 7.

“The organisation will also organise programmes in colleges and schools and conduct door-to-door campaigns and Nav Chetna Shivirs (free of cost programme for economically weaker sections) to inform

people about the pollution in Yamuna, in Delhi,” he added.
