Three-day gardening festival from Friday

If you are a gardening enthusiast, this is the time to be in Delhi. Starting February 17, Delhi Tourism is organising a three-day Garden Tourism Festival in the beautiful lawns of the Garden of Five Senses at Said-ul-Ajaib near Saket in south Delhi. This is the 25th year the tourism department is organising this festival.

This is the 25th year the tourism department is organising this festival.

The festival proves to be is a great platform for garden lovers to meet, interact and showcase their work. The major participants during the festival are the horticulture departments of the government and civic agencies in Delhi and the NCR towns.

According to Delhi tourism officials, the theme of the festival this year is 'Beauty and Nutrition'.

During the three day festival, there will competitions in 31 categories such as potted plants, foliage plants, cactus and succulents, herbal and medicinal plants, bonsai plants, etc.
