The group consisting of three passengers Al Dhaheri Hamad, Al Shamsi Mohammed, Al Shamsi Rashid -all residents of Dubai -- arrived from Bangkok around 12.30pm and was proceeding towards Dubai.
During regular frisking by CISF staff, one small monkey was recovered from the under garment of one passenger, while the other was found abandoned in a dustbin of the terminal during a search, said CISF sources.
The CISF officials summoned the wild life experts and also informed the local police. Police detained the passengers as they did not have Indian visa.
Both the monkeys have been sent to Raja Garden hospital for treatment, where their conditions is said to be critical.
