Vajpayee taken to AIIMS for routine check-up

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was today taken to AIIMS for a check-up.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was today taken to AIIMS for a check-up.

According to a statement issued by his officer on special duty L R Ahuja, 86-year-old Vajpayee, who is suffering from age-related ailments, was taken to the premier institute for a routine check-up.

The former Prime Minister had undergone a knee replacement surgery when he was in office.
