Veteran RSS leader Nanaji Deshmukh hospitalised

The 93-year-old RSS leader, who runs an NGO at Chitrakoot on the UP-MP border, was admitted to a hospital after he complained of breathing problems.

RSS veteran Nanaji Deshmukh was admitted to a private hospital here on Thursday for treatment of lung infection.

The 93-year-old leader, who runs an NGO at Chitrakoot on the Uttar Pradesh-Madhya Pradesh border, was brought here in an air ambulance from Patna this morning, family sources said.

His condition is stated to be stable.

Deshmukh had been complaining of breathing problems for the past two days after which he was brought to Patna from Chitrakoot, the sources said.

Senior BJP leader L K Advani and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister met the RSS veteran to enquire about his health.
