West Delhi MP unhappy with work on roads

Member of Parliament from west Delhi Mahabal Mishra on Saturday expressed displeasure at the slow pace of work on the road from Najafgarh till Nangloi.
The MP had facilitated Rs 100 crore grant from the Union ministry of transport to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for improving rural roads, specially in his constituency in 2010.
Objecting the tardy pace of work, Mishra, during a meeting with municipal commissioner KS Mehra, also expressed dissatisfaction with the work on a flyover on Pankha road. MCD's officials assured him that the one part of the flyover would be completed by October and the second part by December, a statement said here. Mishra also raised objections and asked as to why the MCD had not started covering the drain that runs parallel to Pankha road.
