The Flying Branch of the IAF has the fighter, helicopter and transport streams for an officer who trains to be a pilot. The Technical Branch inducts engineers from various streams to handle the electronic and mechanical aspects of Air Force operations. The Ground Duty Branch comprises officers who take care of administration, accounts, education and meteorology. The high level of professionalism ensures an equitable system, wherein every individual gets his/her due share.
