Woman killed in fire in New Delhi

A woman has been burnt to death in a fire in an East Delhi locality on Sunday.

According to fire department sources, the victim Rajmani Devi, 62, died following the burn injuries.

The fire in the house started following a leakage in LPG pipe, they said.

The injured were admitted to LNJP and GTB hospitals here.

In another incident, a minor fire broke out in the CGO complex in New Delhi on Sunday. The fire broke out in the seventh floor of the building at around 11 am following which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Short circuit in one of the air conditioner machine caused the fire in the complex which houses number of government offices, they said.
There was no immediate report of any casualty or damage.
