‘Wounds of 26/11 have not healed yet’

Rao, in Karan Thapar’s India Tonight programme on CNBC TV 18, however, said, “I would put it this way. I think the possibility exists. I do not rule out the possibility of a visit. As far as timing is concerned, it is not decided. Thirdly I would like to say there is a lot of preparatory work that still needs to be completed before we can have such a visit,” she said.

Rao maintained the wounds of the Mumbai terror attack have not healed and stressed on Islamabad taking with “utmost seriousness” its request for voice samples of the 26/11 accused.”…The wounds of 26/11 have not healed as yet. I think we would do wrong to the people who lost their lives and the families that continue to grieve as a result of what happened so tragically in Mumbai, if we were to say that 26/11 is behind us,” Rao said.
