KSEAB Karnataka SSLC Result 2024 Live: A total of 859967 students appeared in the first SSLC or Class 10 exam 2024, of whom 73.40 per cent have passed, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) announced on Monday. This is the lowest pass percentage recorded in the Karnataka SSLC examination since 2021. The results are now available on karresults.nic.in. 

Another key highlight of this year’s results is that girl candidates have outperformed their male counterparts with a significant margin of 15.21 percentage points. The board said 423829 girl candidates wrote the exam and 343788 (81.11%) have cleared it, while only 287416 (65.90 per cent) out of 436138 boys have passed the examination. 

However, in rural and urban areas, the difference is not that big. As many as 493900 students from urban areas took the test, of whom 359703 have passed. The pass percentage for students of urban areas is 72.83 per cent. On the other hand, 366067 students from rural areas wrote the exam, of whom 271501 or 74.17 per cent have cleared it.
