JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Live: Day 5 shift 2 ends, exam analysis soon

Chemistry paper Easy to Moderate Level. Inorganic Chemistry was given more weight compared to Physical & Organic Chemistry. Numerical Based questions were mostly from Physical Chemistry – Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Mole Concepts, Ionic Equilibrium, and Solid state. Questions were also asked from Environmental Chemistry, p & d block, Phenols, Chemical Bonding, and Coordination Compounds. Some mixed-concept questions were asked in Organic Chemistry from Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, Biomolecules, and Polymers.

Physics paper was Easy level. Questions were asked from Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics (3–4 questions), Kinetic Theory of Gases, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, EM Waves, Electrostatics, Magnetism, AC Circuits, Current Electricity, Modern Physics & Ray Optics. Numerical-based questions were easy. Overall, this section was balanced, according to the students.

The Mathematics was Moderately level. Questions were asked from all chapters with emphasis on Chapters on Algebra & Calculus. Questions were asked from Vectors & 3 D Geometry (4 to 5 questions), Binomial Theorem, Progressions, Matrices, Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, Permutation & Combination & Probability, Straight Lines & Circle , Parabola, Definite Integrals had 3 questions, Area, Differential Equations(2 questions). The numerical Section had lengthy calculations. Mixed concept questions were asked in Conic Sections. A few questions were reported as Tricky.

Mathematics was Moderate Level while Physics was Easy among the three subjects. Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students.

Day 4, shift 1 of JEE Main 2023 ended at 12 pm. More details soon. 

The official answer key of JEE Main session 2 will be released after April 12. NTA will first issue the provisional answer key and the final one will be released along with or after results. 

Analysis of the JEE Main morning shift paper shared by students and subject experts will be available after 12 pm. 

The first shift of JEE Main 2023 day 4 exam started at 9 am. The paper ends at 12 pm. 

1. Take printout of the admit card on A4 paper, in colour. Print all pages.
2. Fill the self-declaration form in your own handwriting but do not sign it. You have to do it in the exam venue in front of an invigilator. 
3. Bring the required documents and follow all the guidelines mentioned on admit cards. 
4. When the exam is over, drop the admit card on the box provided. Talk to an invigilator if there is any doubt. 

NTA has published the JEE Main admit card for April 11 and 12 BE/BTech papers. It can be downloaded from jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

On the fourth day of JEE Main, the exam will be held in two shifts. From 9 am and from 3 pm. 

Physics paper was easy. Weightage was given to chapters on Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Rotational Motion, Magnetism, SHM & Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Semiconductors and Modern Physics. Numerical-based questions were reported as Easy. Chapters of XII Class had more weightage. Assertion -Reasoning questions had mixed concepts.

The chemistry paper was of an Easy To Moderate level. Physical & Inorganic Chemistry had more weightage. Questions were asked from Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, Polymers, Alcohols, Ethers & Phenols, Aryl & Alkyl halides in Organic Chemistry. Ionic Equilibrium, Solid State, Surface Chemistry, Coordination Compounds, Mole Concept, Electrochemistry, Atomic Structure, Chemical Kinetics. Inorganic Chemistry had questions from p-block and d-block, Ores & Metallurgy.

Mathematics was Moderate Level. Weightage was given to chapters of Conic Sections and Calculus. Questions asked from Matrices, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Ellipse, Circle, Parabola, Binomial Theorem, Progressions, Functions, AOD, Areas, and Differential Equations. Both MCQs and Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations. This section was also tricky for a few students.

In terms of order of Difficulty – Maths was Moderate, Physics was Easy , while Chemistry was reported as Easy to Moderate. Overall, this paper was Moderate level as per students.

The next JEE Main 2023 examination will be conducted  on April 11 and 12.

NTA ended the JEE Mains session 2 day 3 shift 2 exams today, April 10. The paper analysis will be available soon.

“The candidates scheduled to appear on 11 April 2023 and 12 April 2023 are required to download their Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2023 Session 2 (April 2023) (using their Application No. and Date of Birth) from the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ w.e.f. 09 April 2023 and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin”, reads the official notification.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued admit cards for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main session 2 exams scheduled for April 11, 2023.

The second shift of JEE Main day 3 exam started at 3 pm. The paper will continue till 6 pm.

In terms of order of difficulty – Mathematics was easy to moderate while Physics & Chemistry were easy. Overall, this paper was of easy level as per students.

Physics – Easy level. Questions were asked from Gravitation, EM Waves, Wave Optics, Ray Optics, Electrostatics, Magnetism & Matter, Current Electricity & Modern Physics, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work Power Energy, Heat & Thermodynamics, Semi-Conductors, Communication Systems. MCQs were relatively easy. Some assertion reasoning questions were also asked. Overall a Balanced section.
