KAS 2014 results announced by JKPSC, Anjum Bashir Khan tops exam

Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak from Surankote in Poonch district has topped the Combined Civil Services exam or Kashmir Administrative Service exam with 1514.33 marks

Results of the Combined Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2014 (also known as the Kashmir Administrative Service examination 2014) were released by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on December 18. Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak from Surankote in Poonch district topped the exam with 1514.33 marks.

Aliya Tabassum from Kishtwar grabbed the second position.

JKPSC’s preliminary examination was held on August 30, 2015, in which 12,145 candidates appeared, the Indian Express has reported.

After the mains were conducted from February 11 to February 27, 2017, the commission brought out a list of 175 candidates, out of which 171 aspirants appeared and 51 made it to the selection list, the report said.

According to various web reports, Anjum Bashir Khan had opted for public administration and anthropology in the exam. Son of a retired lecturer, he has given credit to his parents for sharing his career.
