The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Tuesday declared the results of the written examination held for direct recruitment to various Group-IV Services posts for the year 2015-2016.
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) declared on Tuesday the results of the written examination held for direct recruitment to various Group-IV Services posts for the year 2015-2016. The examination was held on November 6.
Steps to check the results:
1) Visit TNPSC’s official website.
2) Enter ‘register number’ and click on submit
3) Marks obtained by candidate and his rank position will be displayed on the screen
4) Take a printout for future reference

The examination was of three hours’ duration and 300 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for selection is 90.
The notification for the examination (15/2016) was released on August 9, 2016, to fill 5,451 Group-IV Services posts. Out of the total vacancies, as many as 2,345 are for the post of junior assistant (non-security); 121 for junior assistant (security); eight for bill collector (grade I); 532 for field surveyor; 327 for draftsman; 1,714 for typist; and 404 for steno-typist (grade III).
