UPSC result 2017: Juhi Jalota from Ludhiana bags 122nd rank
Juhi Jalota, a 27-year-old engineer based in Ludhiana, bagged the 122nd rank in the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) examinations.
Juhi Jalota, a 27-year-old engineer based in Ludhiana, bagged the 122nd rank in the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) examinations.

Originally from Gwalior, she is married to a businessman residing in Model Gram.
This was her third attempt at cracking the UPSC. Now that she has succeeded, she wants to join the Indian Police Service.
Although HT could not contact Juhi because she was in Solan at the time of the declaration of results, her sister-in-law Geetanjali said she was inspired by her civil-servant grandfather in Madhya Pradesh. After her marriage, she quit working with an MNC in Delhi and launched full-fledged preparations for the UPSC examinations.
Her mother-in-law is the head of the geography department at the Government College for Girls in Ludhiana. “We are elated. Juhi’s hard work has paid off,” said Geetanjali.
