He inherited his political legacy from his father, Navin Kishore Sinha, a veteran BJP leader who was a four-time MLA from the Patna West constituency. Following his father's demise in 2006, Nitin Nabin won the by-election for the same seat, marking his entry into the Bihar assembly. Since then, he has consistently won elections, including from the redrawn Bankipur constituency, which he has represented since 2010. A four-time MLA, he first became a minister in 2021. He has held several key portfolios. Beyond Bihar, Nitin Nabin served as national general secretary of the BJP youth wing. His strategic acumen was recognised when he was appointed as the BJP's election in-charge for Chhattisgarh, where his efforts contributed to the party's victory.
