On Tuesday, actor Aamir Khan, asked fans on Facebook to vote for his sister Farhat, who is participating in a design contest.
However, after he was criticised for using his influence as a star to help his sister, the actor apologised.
"I really shouldn't have done what I did. I did it in a fit of sisterly love... It's not fair… Please vote for whichever design you guys like. So sorry."
