, who was being treated at a psychiatric facility after some dodgy behaviour over the last few months, has been released after two weeks of treatment.

The 28-year-old actor was seen walking around the Sunset Strip, reported TMZ.

Bynes asked a hearing officer to be released on Thursday and was allowed to go, said an insider. Bynes reportedly has been taking medicine regularly and she sounds lucid. The hearing officer apparently thinks that Bynes is now stable and that she cannot be held involuntarily.

Bynes was admitted to the hospital by her parents after she showed weird behaviour following an arrest earlier this month. A previous report suggested she was back under the conservatorship of her parents.
