Anupam Kher gorges on old Delhi delights

Shooting for a movie in old Delhi gave veteran actor Anupam Kher the chance to gorge on local delights like Mughlai food and jalebis. The actor is shooting in the Capital for director Sanjeev Sharma’s Saat Uchakkey.

“Night shoot in Old Delhi means having to deal with amazing Mughlai food, jalebi, kulfi faluda and raat ki rani ki khushboo (fragrance of jasmine). Wah Purani Dilli,” tweeted Anupam.

, which is being produced by filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s banner.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee was also present for the movie’s shooting, and he too had a great time. “(Anupam Kher is) One hell of a gem! Got him the best Mughlai food and he felt sleepy after having all of it,” tweeted Manoj.

There’s another actor who’s missing the different culinary flavours of Delhi. “Janpath Depaul’s, Lajpat Nagar’s lassi, Chanakya Nirula’s, Defence Colony’s Moet’s, South Extension Chaat, Prince Masala Banta, Pandara’s Gulati... Remembering My Delhi (sic),”actor Sandhya Mridul tweeted.
