Anushka Sharma has been making news for being the front runner for Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s Bollywood collaboration. Now, the actor has more reasons to celebrate. The 24-year-old has finally bought herself a sprawling house in Mumbai and is busy doing up the decor these days.

Anushka Sharma has been making news for being the front runner for Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s Bollywood collaboration. Now, the actor has more reasons to celebrate. The 24-year-old has finally bought herself a sprawling house in Mumbai and is busy doing up the decor these days.

“Anushka has bought the house for her family because she always wanted her parents to live with her in her dream home,” says a source close to the actor. The actor is currently shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s Peekay and commercials for the brands she endorses, but she has been taking time out to give suggestions to the interior designer.

“Even when she is not in the city, she regularly keeps in touch with the designer who briefs her about everything that’s happening in the house. She is completely involved with the decor,” says the source, adding, “She also keeps a keen watch over the architecture when she visits a new city or country, and has bought a lot of artefacts from different places. She is looking forward to shifting into the new house.”
