Love rat Arnold Schwarzenegger has refused spousal support to his estranged wife Maria Shriver in $400million divorce. The former California Governor has filed his response to Shriver's divorce petition – and had asked the judge to terminate her spousal support request, reports the Daily Mail.
The couple are said to have not entered into a prenuptial agreement a the time of the marriage so under California law both parties are entitled to a 50/50 split of all earnings and property accumulated during their 25-year marriage.
The papers also showed that 63-year-old Schwarzenegger - like Shriver - is asking for joint custody of the couple's two minor children Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13. Incidentally, at the time of the drama Patrick had tweeted that he was dropping his father's last name in favour of his mother's surname.
According to the papers, Shriver has asked the Terminator actor to pay for her attorney's fees, but Schwarzenegger's wants that each party foot the bill for their respective lawyers.
