This Christmas, we asked Bollywood beauties who, according to them, is the Santa Claus in the film industry, and why. Here’s what they had to say:
Neetu Chandra: Boman Irani. He has that look. He is very nice and helpful, and has an ever-smiling face.
Chitrangada Singh: Boman Irani, though I am yet to get a gift from him.
Shazahn Padamsee: Prem Chopra. I shot with him in Rocket Singh, where he had a huge white beard and that reminded me of Santa.
Shahana Goswami: Boman Irani. He is a jovial entertainer who will always surprise you with his antics. He really has it in him to make people happy.
Pooja Bedi: My dad. (Kabir Bedi). He is big, cuddly, has a beard, a deep voice and always spoils us with gifts.
Koena Mitra: Boman Irani definitely reminds me of Santa Claus is Boman Irani. He plays roles that are a joy to watch and that’s what Christmas is all about — spreading cheer and joy.
Kim Sharma: The only name that comes to my mind is of Rishi Kapoor. He’s had the ‘chocolate boy’ image right from his debut film, Mera Naam Joker, with his red cheeks and bright eyes! His roles symbolised the very meaning of being Merry!
