Neha Dhupia has shared a few pictures from a sports event where she and husband Angad Bedi happened to meet Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.

Not just sportspersons but several Bollywood celebrities also attended the Indian Sports Honours 2023 held on Thursday. Anushka Sharma accompanied cricketer husband Virat Kohli to the event whereas all from Neha Dhupia and actor husband Angad Bedi to Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn were also spotted on the red carpet. Hours later, Neha shared a few inside pictures from the event where she mingled with Anushka and Virat.

Sharing a picture that had her, Angad as well as Anushka and Virat in the frame, Neha wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Tonight for the love of sports and these two.” Neha wore a brown gown saree for the event and Angad joined her in a blue suit paired with a white shirt. Anushka chose a snug purple gown with a side slit while Virat was in a blue suit paired with a black tie. Anushka shared her post on her own Instagram Stories along with a heart emoticon.

Neha shared another picture with Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra and wrote, “Our golden boy @neeraj_chopra.”

On the same day, Anushka and Virat announced the merger of their respective foundations and launched a new initiative, called SeVVA. In a joint statement, they said the new initiative will help people in need and is not confined to any particular cause. "In the words of Kahlil Gibran ‘For in truth it is life that gives unto life- while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness’. With this sentiment in mind, we have decided to work together through SeVVA aiming to reach out to as many people as possible. SeVVA’s work won't be confined to a particular issue as it will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today," the statement read.

Anushka will now be seen in her comeback film, Chakda Express on Netflix. She plays the lead role in this cricketer Jhulan Goswami biopic. Neha was last seen in the film A Thursday last year. Angad will next be seen in Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3.
