Farhan Akhtar and sister-in-law Anusha Dandekar had celebrated their birthdays at a get-together last week. They turned a year older on Monday. Here are pics from the party.
Karisma Kapoor has shared an unseen group picture from her get-together with Farhan Akhatar and his family last week. Amrita Arora, Farhan's producer partner Ritesh Sidhwani, Rhea Chakraborty, Anusha Dandekar and many others were also a part of the get-together. Karisma had shared the pic to wish Farhan on his birthday on Monday. It was a pre-birthday party for Farhan and his sister-in-law Anusha who share their birthdays. Sharing the picture, Karisma Kapoor wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Happy birthday Farhan.” While Farhan was in a black tee and khaki pants, Karisma was in a bright orange polka dot outfit. Amrita is seen pouting for the camera in a pink dress.
On Saturday, Farhan had shared a family picture from the get-together on Instagram. The picture had him, wife Shibani Dandekar and his two daughters Shakya and Akira in the frame. While Shakya was in a white dress, Akira was in a brown one. They are Farhan's daughters with his ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani. He tied the knot with Shibani Dandekar last year, several years after his separation with Adhuna.
Rhea Chakraborty too had shared a few pictures from the party. Sharing a picture in which Farhan and Anusha were seen cutting a cake together, Rhea had written, “Birthday twins. Happy Happy @vjanusha @faroutakhtar.” With another picture that had her twinning with Anusha in black, Rhea had written, “Happy birthday my sweet @vjanusha shine on.”
Farhan was last seen in sports drama film Toofan alongside Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal which had a digital release on Amazon Prime Video. He will be next directing a road trip film titled Jee Le Zara, starring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Work is yet to begin on this much-anticipated project.
Farhan made his directorial debut with Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 and marked his acting debut with the musical drama Rock On!! in 2008. He also lent his voice to the hit tracks of the film like Socha Hai, Pichle Saat Dino Mein and the title track of the film. He has since worked in films like Dil Dhadakne Do, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Toofan and others. Along with Ritesh Sidhwani, he has also co-produced films like Fukrey, Fukrey Returns, KGF, KGF 2, Gully Boy and Gold.
