Zoya Akhtar digs out childhood pic of Farhan Akhtar for his 49th birthday, Shibani Dandekar calls him 'cutest'

Director Zoya Akhtar took to Instagram and shared a childhood picture of Farhan Akhtar to wish him on his 49th birthday. She called her brother ‘fav boy.’ Farhan's wife Shibani Dandekar reacted to the unseen picture.

Director Zoya Akhtar wished actor-singer, Farhan Akhtar on his birthday via an Instagram post. Farhan turned 49 on January 9. Zoya posted an adorable picture of her brother and wrote a sweet message. She called brother Farhan ‘fav boy.’ Farhan was all smiles in the picture. Along with fans Farhan's wife Shibani Dandekar and Abhishek Bachchan reacted to the birthday post.

In the monochrome picture, Farhan wore a T-shirt. He kept short hair and looked straight into the camera. He had a serious look on his face.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Zoya wrote, “Birthday Boy. I (red heart emoji) you more each year (red heart emoji). ” She used ‘fav boy’ and ‘wish you health, peace and happiness’ as the hashtags. She tagged Farhan too on the post. Reacting to the post, Farhan replied, “Thank you Zo (two red heart emojis).” Farhan's wife Shibani Dandekar commented, “The cutest (red heart emoji).” Actors Abhishek Bachchan dropped a heart emoji and Divya Dutta commented, “Happy bday. #favboy surely.”

Many fans of Farhan posted heartwarming messages for him on birthday. One of his fans posted, “Love you Farhaan! Zoya is the daughter of screenwriters Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani. Farhan Akhtar is her brother. He is actor as well as filmmaker. Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani, with whom he shares two daughters- Shakhya and Akira. Farhan got separated from Adhuna in 2016, after 16 years of their marriage. Then, Farhan got married to Shibani Dandekar on February 19, 2022 after dating for almost four years.

Farhan will be making a comeback to direction with his upcoming film, Jee Le Zaraa. The film is written by his sister Zoya. It stars Priyanka Chopra with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Zoya is gearing up for the release of The Archies. The film will mark the acting debut of Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, and daughter of late actor Sridevi, Khushi Kapoor in Bollywood. The film is set to be released in 2023.
