Rakhi Sawant breaks down as her mother is hospitalised due to brain tumour and cancer. Watch video

Rakhi Sawant shared the news of her mother's hospitalisation on Instagram and cried in her recent video. She said she wasn't aware of her mother's health while appearing on Bigg Boss Marathi 4.

On Monday Rakhi Sawant took to her Instagram account and informed fans about her mother Jaya Sawant's hospitalisation. She said her mother has been diagnosed with brain tumour and cancer. In the video, Rakhi who just stepped out of Bigg Boss Marathi house, broke down while announcing the news and also requested for everyone's blessing.

Rakhi Sawant's mother has been diagnosed with advance stage cancer and brain tumour.

Sharing the post, Rakhi wrote in the caption, “Mom is in hospital. She is not well pray for her." Her boyfriend Adil Khan Durrani and her brother Rakesh are also seen with her in the video. Rakhi said, “Hi everyone, I came out from Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4 last night. (Got to know) My mom is not well, she is in hospital. Please pray for her, she is not feeling her best."

"She is fighting a battle with cancer. We just came to know that she has brain tumour with cancer,” added Rakhi. She also said that nobody told her about her mother's health while she was in the Bigg Boss Marathi house. She shares glimpses of her mother who was unconscious on a hospital bed.

In the same video, Rakhi further asked a doctor about her mother's health. He explained, "Her left side is paralysed. A sample has been taken out and sent to lab, Friday, the result will come and only then will we come to know how much radiation does she require. Her cancer has spread to her lungs, it is not feasible to operate on her right now.” Her mother is admitted at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital in Mumbai.

Soon after Rakhi shared the news, fans rushed to extend their support. Joining them, actor Mahima Chaudhry who fought cancer herself, commented, “My prayers wishing her good health.” “Oh my darling. I send prayers and blessings to you and yoir mother,” added Sofia Hayat. While Delnaaz Irani told Rakhi to ‘take care,’ Pavitraa Puniya and Rahul Vaidya dropped praying hands emoji.

On Sunday night, Rakhi Sawant made her first public appearance after coming out of Bigg Boss Marathi. She was one of the finalists along with Akshay Kelkar, Apurva Nemlekar, Kiran Mane and Amruta Dhongade. Akshay Kelkar was the winner of Bigg Boss season 4 Marathi.
