Actor Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali Sood, was recently involved in a severe car accident on the Nagpur highway, a source close to the family has revealed. Images from the crash have also surfaced.

The accident took place late Monday night (March 24) while Sonali was traveling with her sister and nephew. Her nephew, who was driving, sustained injuries as well. Both he and Sonali are currently being treated at Max Hospital in Nagpur.

Upon hearing the news, Sonu Sood immediately rushed to Nagpur and has been by his wife’s side since last night, the source told Htcity. A spokesperson for the actor confirmed the incident, stating, “Yes, Sonali was in an accident. Sonu is not available at the moment.”

Doctors at the hospital have placed Sonali and her nephew under close observation, with medical care planned for the next 48-72 hours. Sonali’s sister, however, escaped with only minor injuries.

Sonali Sood, originally from Andhra Pradesh, holds an MBA from Nagpur University and is a film producer by profession. Sonu Sood, an engineer graduate from a local private engineering college. Despite being married to a well-known actor, she has largely remained out of the public eye.

Sonu Sood, known for his impactful roles in Bollywood, gained widespread respect for his philanthropic efforts, especially during the pandemic. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
