This time around, the item girl has said that she will file a defamation suit against Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh for comparing her to activist Arvind Kejriwal. “I am very upset. I am going to the court today and I will file a defamation case. He has ruined my Diwali. I will ruin his New Year,” says Rakhi. Courts, however, are not open on Diwali.
On Sunday, Singh had tweeted, “A Columbia University student sent me a message which I can’t resist. Tweeting with no offence to Rakhi Sawant.” The tweet read: “Arvind Kejriwal is like Rakhi Sawant. They both try and expose but with no substance.” He also tweeted, “Apologies to Rakhi Sawant I am an old fan of hers!”
But the Congress biggie’s confession of being a fan hasn’t calmed down Rakhi. In another interview on the issue, she said, “These politicians watch dirty videos in parliament, they probably see my videos, too.” “He (Digvijaya Singh) not only tweeted this but also said it. I heard it. He is in such a respectable position. How could he?” she says. “Even earlier some politicians had married me off to a minister.
