Why did you decide to buy this car?
I got this car last year, when I was looking for a sports car. I bought this because it’s also a convertible. Plus it comes with a hard top, which gives you added stability. All of these worked in its favour.
Have you always been a Mercedes aficionado?
I’m more of a BMW fan, but the Z4 roadster is way too expensive! Also, the safety and comfort that a Mercedes car will offer you is unparalleled.
Describe your best driving experience with the SLK 200.
I was in Amby Valley, Lonavla, and I touched 200 kph on the highway, but the car didn’t budge even while turning corners. It’s got the best power to weight ratio in its class and the body roll is insignificant, and it all adds up to make this a phenomenal drive. In the city, too, it’s a complete head-turner.
Why would you recommend the SLK 200?
For its sheer driving pleasure. It’s aggressive and a complete driver’s car, and suited for people who love cruising.
