I’m glad that I found a companion, says Kangana Ranaut
Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is happy in her current relationship, does acknowledge the challenges that come with being in one. Freedom of being alone is intoxicating, she says, relationships can be very traumatic.
Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is happy in her current relationship, does acknowledge the challenges that come with being in one. "Freedom of being alone is intoxicating. Relationships can be very traumatic. But being in a healthy relationship can be very empowering," says the 27-year-old, who’s currently shooting in Delhi.
Ask her to reveal details of her beau, and all she says is that for now, she’s happy to have found a companion. "I am in a relationship and enjoying this state. But, I don’t want to talk about it right now. It’s very special to me and I am glad to have found a companion. I hope I get into the position when I can talk about it. Right now, speaking about it would be unfair on the other person. As it is, relationships are difficult, aren’t they?" she asks.
Kangana’s rapport with actors Aamir Khan and Salman Khan is often talked about. Ask her more and she says, "While Salman and I are buddies, Aamir and I have a really formal equation. Now, don’t make it look like I am comparing the two (laughs). It’s not difficult to understand why Salman and I get along well. We are both upfront. Salman tries to give me gyaan and we end up having arguments. He calls me ‘satku’. He is one of the very few people who understand my sense of humour," she smiles.
"On the other hand, I refer to Aamir as Aamir Sir, even when he asks me to not call him so. I have a lot of admiration for him. He is a very sensitive person, and so is Salman. I guess all artists are sensitive."
