Beware! She's hot as a mirchi. Item bomb Rakhi Sawant, in news these days for the kiss-and-yell controversy with Mika, tells what can save the pop singer from disgrace and lots more. Read on...
After you lodged an FIR against Mika for his alleged smooching, is he really looking for a patch-up with you?
That’s what he called and told me. Initially, he was making all excuses that he didn’t misbehave with me in the party but I went ahead and lodged an FIR. Even after that he kept on making lame excuses but when the Mumbai police issued an arrest warrant, only then he realized that he is in trouble. Mika called me to apologize. He wanted to come to my house but didn’t turn up.
What sort of an apology are you expecting from him?
I want him to give me a written apology for his outrageous behaviour with me in the party. He went ahead and crossed all limits of party etiquettes. He must realize that he did something wrong and if he is not sorry then he better be prepared to be behind bars. In fact, his bail application has also been turned down by the court. So, he has to choose between apology and jail. It’s his choice.
If he apologizes, will you withdraw your FIR and forgive him?
Yes, definitely. I told him that. I know we have been friends for so long and have performed together at various functions. I just went to wish him 'Happy Birthday' only because he invited me repeatedly. I did it with sisterly feeling by putting a peck on his cheek but that doesn’t give him the license to smooch me forcibly. I am hurt for being taken for granted. Now, only a written apology can save him from disgrace.
Your scanty clothes are much talked about. Recently in Banaras handful of youths went from home to home begging clothes for you. They have collected dozens of saris and very soon they will be sending it to you by courier. What do you have to say?
I heard about that. The problem is that people know only half the truth about me. They know me only by the character I portray in item songs and stage shows. They don’t know that I am as social and decent at home as any next door girl. To tell you the truth, when I am at home I am dressed in either salwaar kameez or a sari but I can't do sizzling item acts in a sari!
