There was no dearth of such movies in Bollywood till a few years back. But of late with desi entertainment cinema becoming more matured, one thought that the audience had been spared of mindless flicks for good. But with Jawani Diwani director Manish Sharma has proved us wrong. He has ventured into a territory that sensible Hindi film viewers have rejected long time back.

Jawani Diwani,
meant to be a fun film for the youth, falls flat as it has nothing but a stale story, some sick humour lots of skin show and pathetic music.
After an impressive guest appearance in Kalyug, Emraan Hashmi looks very comfortable in doing what he is known for - kissing and wooing women!

Jawani Diwani, meant to be a fun film for the youth, falls flat as it has nothing but a stale story, some sick humour lots of skin show and pathetic music.

The story? It’s the done-to-death love triangle. Mann Kapoor (Hashmi) is an aspiring singer and passionate about his career but cannot resist women. And as he sets his eyes on Radha (Hrishitta Bhatt), all his dreams suddenly start coming true. In her he can have a beautiful wife and thanks to her he can have a father-in-law as a ladder to success. She falls in the trap and a delighted Mann goes to Goa to celebrate his success.

Life cannot get any better for him as he finds a beauty, Roma (Celina Jaitley), in Goa. But what was supposed to be a one-night-stand brews up a series of problems.

Jawani Diwani

could have at least been an interesting watch had the script been handled intelligently and packed well. Jaitley is best at showing skin but puts up a disappointing show when it comes to acting. While Hrishitta Bhatt looks nice and acts well, Hashmi is a perfect choice for the role. With absolutely nothing good to hold the movie together, one finds it extremely difficult to sit through.

And if you still must watch the movie for whatever reason, then enjoy the picturesque Mauritius where the film is set.
