John Travolta to tour Mumbai

Hollywood actor John Travolta will make his debut India visit and in true superstar style, will be flying the plane himself. The Pulp Fiction star is a professional pilot with over 5,000 hours of commercial flying time and has secured permission from the airport authority of India to land on Mumbai’s airstrip.
He will be coming in to launch a new model of Breitling watches, a premium aviation watch company, which he has been endorsing for the past five years. The expensive timepieces cost anything between Rs 1.5 lakh to 1 crore.
Ashok Goel, brand consultant for Breitling, confirms the details: “John Travolta will be traveling with his own team of hair-stylists, make-up artistes and a nutritionist. He will be accompanied by his daughter, Ella. But his wife, Kelly Preston, who is currently pregnant with twins, won’t be joining them.”
While in Mumbai, Travolta will be staying at the Grand Hyatt in Santa Cruz and the Oberoi in Nariman Point. So has he made any special requests for food? “Not yet, but his nutritionist is on board. We expect the demands to come in soon,” Goel says.With a tight schedule, Travolta won’t be touring India. Goel reveals, "He is moving on to Moscow in Russia directly on September 27. He is on something of a world tour to promote the brand, so he won’t be able to travel around the country."
Goel also confirms that Travolta will be meeting Bollywood celebrities during his time here. He adds, “We have set up a number of meetings for him, some as part of the brand promotion exercise, and some private meetings. But we can’t reveal any details right now.”
