Leighton Meester is feeling betrayed these days. The Gossip Girl star had wired her brother some money for his medical expenses. Leighton's mom, Constance Meester allegedly stole the dough to get plastic surgery, botox and hair extensions.

Leighton used to wire $7,500 a month to her little brother Lex for some medical issues he was having which her mother allegedly misappropriated.

Leighton has filed a lawsuit against her mother saying that Constance would refuse to work and compel her daughter to send her money. Constance alleges that there exists a verbal contract between Leighton and her requiring Leighton to pay $10,000 a month for life. She threatened to file a $3 million lawsuit against the actor if she failed to pay up.

Leighton refutes the existence of any such contract. She is moving court to get a judge to declare the same.

Leighton was raised by her grandmother because her mother was serving a federal prison sentence for drug smuggling when she was expecting Leighton. Constance delivered Leighton, nursed her for three months and then went back to prison to complete her sentence.
