Pop singer Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence with his girlfriend. Michael was arrested after his girlfriend filed a report claiming that the couple got into an argument that turned physical.

Michael was arrested after his girlfriend filed a report with the Los Angeles county Sheriff's Department, Monday, claiming that the couple got into an argument that turned physical, reports contactmusic.com.



It was also said that his girlfriend had visible marks on her from the alleged altercation.

According to TMZ.com, the 50-year-old was taken to a hospital for an unrelated medical condition by the cops before he was taken to the Sheriff's office.



Lohan is currently taking part in TV show Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab for control his anger management issues.
