Singer-actor Marc Anthony has claimed that he asked his singer-actress wife Jennifer Lopez to marry him within seconds of meeting her.
The 40-year-old singer who has 17-month-old twins Max and Emme with Lopez, married her in 2004 and was convinced he would spend the rest of his life with the brunette beauty when they first met in the 1990s, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"She came to see me backstage at a theatre. As soon as she walked through the door I don't know what hit me. But I probably said the worst thing. I said, 'You're my wife and you don't even know it,' and she was like, 'Excuse me? Well that's intense.' I had no idea where that came from. But she was very cute and now she gets it! She's my girl," said Anthony.
The couple briefly dated after their first meeting, but both went on to marry other people before they reunited.
