The documentary Michael Jackson: This Is it featuring the rehearsal footage of the King of Pop's London tour is releasing today worldwide.
The film is directed by Kenny Ortega of High School Musical fame who was hired by Jackson to choreograph his O2 concerts, helmed the film which consists of behind-the-scenes footage of the star preparing for the highly anticipated performances, his first in 12 years.
It includes dramatic scenes recorded at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles just hours before Jacko died. More than 100 hours of rehearsal footage was recorded before Jackson died.
It shows him working with singers, dancers, choreographers and special effects experts. Jackson had died on June 25 at the age of 50, just weeks before his first concert in the 50-date series at the O2 arena.
