Teen star Miley Cyrus, who recently split from singer Justin Gaston, is now dating British rocker Steve Rushton of the pop band Son of Dork.

Teen star Miley Cyrus, who recently split from singer Justin Gaston, is now dating British rocker Steve Rushton of the pop band Son of Dork.

Thesun.co.uk reports that 22-year-old Rushton played in Cyrus' band in the hit Disney film Hannah Montana: The Movie and they became close while promoting the movie.

"Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney. Miley couldn't wait for him to move. He first met her on the set of the Hannah Montana film after he was asked to play lead guitar for her band. They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart, they have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is still young but she is smitten with him. They are very much in love," said a source.

"Justin never got on with Steve. He was put out by Steve's fantastic relationship with Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus," added the source.
