While everyone involved with the show is pretty much tight-lipped about what to expect in season four, E! reports that shows creator Alan Ball will have Skarsgard stripping down again.
“He was once naked for about eight hours and he’s completely comfortable with it,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Kristin Bauer, who plays Eric’s devilish sidekick. Pam his wife says, “He’s Swedish. My husband’s band toured in Sweden and he said that just how it is. There’s no puritanical background there.”
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine in September, Skarsgard commented on his attitude to being naked on set. Referring to the “sock” used to cover actors modesty, the actor, best known for his role as vampire Eric Northman in the series, said “I don’t want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”
