Gaga, 25, is spotted kneeling on a chair only to be ‘spanked’ by the 59-year-old Frenchman in the TV special ‘Gaga by Gaultier’, which will air on US network CW on September 12, reports the Daily Mail.

However, the report said that the provocative image has been used to incite controversy for the sake of publicity, rather than making any deeper point.

In the documentary she reportedly talks about the control she wields over her image and her fans, known as her Little Monsters.
