A friend in tweet is a friend indeed — or so seems the case with former IPL chief Lalit Modi, 48, and actor Riya Sen, 31, who are bonding on Twitter over their respective IPL woes. Sen, who was dragged into the Mumbai rave controversy sought consolation from Modi.

Sen, who was dragged into the Mumbai rave controversy as she was linked to the party’s organiser Vishay Handa, sought consolation from Modi by tweeting,
feel bad for me ... (they’ve) linked me up for the 100th time in my life ... How many more frogs will they make me kiss, before I find my sexy Prince!”
Modi was quick to offer comfort and share his own predicament from the tournament.
“Join the club. Ignore them. Feel horrible for u?? (sic)”. Modi, who has been in a tweet-war with the current IPL chairperson Rajiv Shukla, also retweeted her tweet. Sen has been previously linked to cricketer Sreesanth, actor Ashmit Patel and author Salman Rushdie.
