Russell, the new sexiest vegetarian

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has named Russell Brand and Kristen Wiig as the World’s Sexiest Vegetarians. The 37-year-old topped the annual poll, replacing last year’s winners, actor Olivia Wilde and celebrity fitness trainer Bob Harper.

British comedian and actor, Brand is known to be ‘meat free’ since the age of 14. The 37-year-old topped the annual poll, replacing last year’s winners, actor Olivia Wilde and celebrity fitness trainer Bob Harper, reports contactmusic.com.

Quizzed whether Brand used fish oil as a way of staying alert, the actor said, “I am vegetarian, and I think it’s cruel to squeeze oil out of a fish -because they’re lovely little guys, aren’t they?” He further added, “You shouldn’t eat animals; it’s mean to them!”
