Actor Ryan Gosling says he is still single because he hasn't met anyone to top former lovers Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams.
The 30-year-old who dated Bullock for a year and McAdams for two years describes them as the greatest girlfriends ever, Contactmusic reported.
"There's interest but I'm in a committed relationship with film. I'm giving as much to it as a marriage. I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven't met anybody who could top them," Gosling said.
The Crazy, Stupid, Love actor believes both relationships ended because both he and his girlfriends work in Hollywood.
"Show business is the bad guy. When both people are in show business it's too much show business. It takes all of the light, so nothing else can grow," he added.
Gosling also said he would love to have children and will happily give up his movie career when the time comes to start a family.
"I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen," he added.
