Savita Bhabhi reloaded
Banned for being ‘unacceptable’, India’s first porn toon star is back on the Internet, with a new look and a new URL.
India’s first porn toon star Savita Bhabhi is back. The website, that got close to 2,00,000 hits a day, was banned in June by the Indian government after they recieved complaints against it.

But the makers of Savita Bhabhi (SB) found a way around the ban and the adult comic strip has returned with an all new URL and more interactive website.
The new site, www.kirtu.com, has two new sexual comic series —Saath Kahaniyan and Kinara Lane — which will be launched soon.
Besides this, the site also has new features — a feedback section, a SB discussion board, a suggestion box, a fan club, live sex chat, an invitation to submit story ideas, videos and an opportunity to join the SB team.
The strip follows the story of Savita, a housewife, and her sexual exploits. It was said to attract traffic higher than the Bombay Stock Exchange site.
However, the toon star may again disappear. “Earlier, the Savita Bhabhi website was banned because its content was not acceptable to our culture,” says Rajesh Chharia, president, Internet Service Providers Association of India (ISP). “So if the same site has come back with a different domain name, the ministry or department will act accordingly,” he adds.
For now, though, Savita Bhabhi’s fans are ecstatic. “In Savita Bhabhi, we have our very own Indian outlet for our emotions and love,” said a visitor to the site. Another said, “I like the characters and also the new features that have been added to it.”
