Sexy actor Bipasha Basu takes all the credit for starting the trend of 'being sexy' in Bollywood. Read on what the beauty has to say about Salman's Fashion show, her upcoming movie Aakrosh and beau John Abraham.

In a statement that can hardly qualify as modest, actor Bipasha Basu has said that it is she who made ‘being sexy’ a trend in Bollywood — a trend that many of her contemporaries followed.

“When I entered the film industry, I was called the ‘unconventional one’. I was the one who showed that being sexy was fine, and other actors eventually followed the trend. The dusky complexion also became a hit, thanks to me. I have carved a niche for myself, and people now take me seriously.”

The actor, who was recently part of Salman Khan’s Being Human Show in Mumbai with other actors such as Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, says, “It was a fabulous show. It was a great opportunity to meet everyone and work towards a noble cause.” So, is she friends with all of them? “‘Friend’ is a very strong term. To be honest, everyone can’t be a friend, but it is great to cordially meet one other once a while.”

While she hopes Aakrosh works magic at the box office, Bips is also excited about her forthcoming film, Players. “I’m looking forward to all the action I’ll be part of, in the film,” she says.

She is also making sure she spends plenty of time with boyfriend John Abraham. “I’ll go to Kolkata for Durga Puja, and John will also be joining me,” she says.
