Salman Khan was to host a big bash tonight, but his plans have just been cancelled. The 45-year-old actor, who is on a flying visit through India, called off the party, which was to be a success bash for his film Bodyguard, because he’s too tired to play host. Sallu arrived in Mumbai at 2.30 am on Wednesday from Dublin, where he is shooting with Katrina Kaif for Yash Raj Films’s Ek Tha Tiger. The actor has been Dublin ever since he underwent surgery for a nerve disorder trigeminal neuralgia in London in August.

At a promotional event for upcoming reality TV show Bigg Boss, which he is co-hosting with Sanjay Dutt, Salman said he’s recovering well. “But, you never know. After surgery I was fine, but the extreme cold weather of Dublin has aggravated it a bit. The cold winds had an adverse effect ... maybe I should be shooting in a warmer country,” he said.

Though a fitness junkie, Salman will have to keep away from the gym for a while. “I can’t work out ... no exercise at the moment for me. Eating properly is a problem right now. I can’t have anything cold, not even water. The treatment has to be followed up and I have to go back after three-four months to get some more tests done.”

While Salman has been away, rumours have been rife about problems and misunderstandings between him and Dutt. But, Sallu rubbishes such talk, “Koi jhagda nahi hua. Moreover, agar do bhaiyon main jhagda huya bhi hai toh I don’t think any one should interfere,” says the actor.

In severe pain or not, Salman’s still maintains his sense of humour. Asked if he would ever like to be an inmate in the Bigg Boss house, he replies, “No, main aur Sanjay free main bandh ho jaate hai,” making a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that both he and Dutt have served jail time in the past.
