At the event, Dilip Joshi was seen asking Munmun Dutta about something and she gestured with her hands. She also pointed towards the entrance as she continued to reply to his question. Munmun Dutta wore a white, off-shoulder high slit dress. Dilip opted for a shimmery maroon outfit. After posing for pictures, the duo walked away together.

In the show, Dilip plays Jethalal Champaklal Gada, and Munmun essays the role of Babita Iyer. Jethalal has a big crush on Babita in the show and is always smitten by her.

Reacting to the video, fans teased them calling them by their Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah characters. A person wrote, “Hey Maaaa Mataji. Tapu ke papa yeh kya (What is this Tapu's father)??????” Tapu is the son of Jethalal and his wife Daya Jethalal Gada. Disha Vakani plays Tapu's mother in the serial.

Another fan commented, "Jetha ji idhar bhi flirt (Jethalal you have started flirting here as well)?" "Jetha lal sharmaa rahe hai (Jethalal is feeling shy)," wrote another fan. A fan said, "Jethalal and babitaji (red heart emoji)."

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is Indian television’s longest-running daily sitcom. It is based on the weekly Gujarati column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma by late columnist-playwright Taarak Mehta in Chitralekha magazine. The TV show, which first aired in 2008, is running in its 14th year with over 3,300 episodes.

Recently, an animated series based on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was also announced and currently streams on Netflix. Titled Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah, the family comedy entertainer show is created and authored by Asit Kumarr Modi and stars a host of actors including Dilip Joshi, Shailesh Lodha, Munmun Dutta, and Mandar Chandwadkar, among others.

The Neela Film Productions Private Limited’s animated series – which has aired two successful seasons on TV since 2021 – also features popular characters from its parent show in hyperbolic comic avatars.
