Subhash, who has been doing her make-up since Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya (2005), had taken a contract job and travelled to Mauritius for the same. “He got stuck there because unfavourable weather conditions delayed the shoot he was working on, and so, he couldn’t return to Mumbai on time. As a result, when he came back, he was fired,” says a source.

When contacted, Katrina confirmed the news, saying, “He (Santosh) did not show up at Anurag Basu’s shoot as he had taken a job elsewhere. So, last minute, we had to find a replacement.”
