Khair, it seems she, Vidya, not Rajni sillies, is very keen to do an item number. And the abhinetri also has a very valid reason for it. Rajni tells me that that Vidya is not only a trained kathak dancer, but has also learnt tap-dancing, salsa, ballet, jive, cha-cha, waltz, rumba, samba, foxtrot and what not.

But unfortunately, the Malavade lass has not got any film to showcase her dancing skills. The only time she’s making the most of her knowledge of her naach by using it merely as a stress-buster.

So she’s hoping and praying that she gets an item number to burn the dance floor on, says Rajni. Well, maybe if she offers to work for free in the first item number that comes her way, she’ll be flooded with many. Hai na?
